Invitrogen™ AMIGO1 Monoclonal Antibody (L86/33)
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA527611
Description
1 μg/mL of MA5-27611 was sufficient for detection of AMIGO-1 in 20 μg of rat brain membrane lysate and assayed by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 60-80kDa depending on maturity/glycosylation. This antibody was formerly sold as clone S86-36.
Promotes growth and fasciculation of neurites from cultured hippocampal neurons. May be involved in fasciculation as well as myelination of developing neural axons. May have a role in regeneration as well as neural plasticity in the adult nervous system. May mediate homophilic as well as heterophilic cell-cell interaction and contribute to signal transduction through its intracellular domain. Assembled with KCNB1 modulates the gating characteristics of the delayed rectifier voltage-dependent potassium channel KCNB1. [UniProt].
