53BP1 Rabbit anti-Fish, Goat, Human, Mouse, Non-human primate, Rat, Biotin, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA522752
Human has been tested in WB, IHC-P and ICC/IF, mouse and goat have only been tested in ICC/IF. Suggested positive control: U205, 293T, MO59K cell lysates and MEF lysates .53BP1 (P53-binding protein 1) plays a critical role in tumor suppression and is a putative substrate of ATM kinase. Upon DNA damage, 53BP1 is phosphorylated and localizes to the presumptive sites of damage, specifically, double-strand breaks. 53BP1 may have a role in checkpoint signaling during mitosis, enhances TP53-mediated transcriptional activation, and participates in DNA repair by maintaining genomic stability.
|The epitope recognized by this antibody maps to a region between residues 350 and 400 of human tumor protein p53 binding protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_005648.1.|
