Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen MA110626
Description
MA1-10626 detects alpha-1 Antitrypsin from human samples. MA1-10626 does not cross react with alpha-1-antichymotrysin. MA1-10626 has been successfully used in ELISA applications. The MA1-10626 immunogen is purified human serum alpha-1 Antitrypsin.
The protein encoded by this gene is secreted and is a serine protease inhibitor whose targets include elastase, plasmin, thrombin, trypsin, chymotrypsin, and plasminogen activator. Defects in this gene can cause emphysema or liver disease. Several transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.Specifications
