CD33, clone P67.6, is derived from the hybridization of mouse Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with FMY9S5 cells containing the CD33 gene.

CD33 recognizes a human myelomonocytic antigen, Mr 67 kilodaltons (kd).
