CD45RB Mouse anti-Human, Non-human primate, Clone: MEM-55, Invitrogen
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen MA119115
This antibody recognizes a siliadase-sensitive epitope of CD45RB, a 180-240 kDa single chain type I membrane glycoprotein, variant of CD45 (CD45RB isoform).CD45RB is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase, CD45 glycoprotein. CD45 is crucial in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, serving as an important regulator of Src-family kinases, promotes cell survival by modulating integrin-mediated signal transduction pathway and is also involved in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis. CD45 isoforms differ in their extracellular domains, but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains. CD45 isoforms differ in their ability to translocate into the glycosphingolipid-enriched membrane domains and their expression depends on cell type and physiological state of the cell. CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells. In addition to involvement in immunoreceptor signaling, CD45 is important in promoting cell survival by modulating integrin-mediated signal transduction pathway and is involved in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis. CD45 is expressed on cells of the human hematopoietic lineage with the exception of mature red cells.
