Dopamine beta Hydroxylase Rabbit anti-Bovine, Guinea Pig, Human, Rat, Polyclonal, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA118314
PA1-18314 detects DBH from human, rat, guinea pig, and bovine samples. PA1-18314 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry, Western blot, radioimmune assay, and inhibition assay procedures. The PA1-18314 immunogen is native enzyme prepared from bovine adrenal glands. After reconstitution, store aliquots at -20 C or 4 C with appropriate antibacterial agent. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Reconstitute with 100 µL of distilled water. The protein encoded by this gene is an oxidoreductase belonging to the copper type II, ascorbate-dependent monooxygenase family. It is present in the synaptic vesicles of postganglionic sympathetic neurons and converts dopamine to norepinephrine. It exists in both soluble and membrane-bound forms, depending on the absence or presence, respectively, of a signal peptide.
