IL-17 A/F Rat anti-Mouse, Clone: 50104, Invitrogen
Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen MA523748
In direct ELISAs, approximately 40% reactivity with recombit mouse (rm) IL-17A/IL-17F heterodimer is observed. No cross-reactivity with recombit human IL-17, recombit canine IL-17, rmIL-17B, rmIL-17C, rmIL-17D, rmIL-17E, or rmIL-17F is observed. Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS. Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method. The protein encoded by this gene is a proinflammatory cytokine produced by activated T cells. This cytokine regulates the activities of NF-kappaB and mitogen-activated protein kinases. This cytokine can stimulate the expression of IL6 and cyclooxygenase-2 (PTGS2/COX-2), as well as enhance the production of nitric oxide (NO). High levels of this cytokine are associated with several chronic inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and multiple sclerosis.
