Integrin β7 Chain Rat anti-Mouse, NA/LE, Unlabeled, Clone: FIB27, BD
Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: BD Biosciences 553812
Description
The FIB27 antibody reacts with the integrin β7 chain (also known as integrin βp), which is found in association with either of two α chains. α4β7 (LPAM-1) is expressed on most mature lymphocytes and on small subsets of thymic and bone marrow cells; it interacts with several ligands, including VCAM-1, fibronectin, and MAdCAM-1. αIELβ7 is found primarily on intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and it may be involved in interactions between IEL and epithelia via recognition of E-cadherin. The FIB27 antibody blocks β7 integrin-mediated adhesion to fibronectin, MAdCAM-1, and VCAM-1, and it cross-reacts with human integrin β7.
