Description
Reacts with KIR-NKAT2, a member of the killer-inhibitory receptor (KIR) family. The KIR family consists of transmembrane glycoproteins of the Ig superfamily expressed on NK cells and a subset of T cells which are involved in recognition of MHC class I molecules on target cells and inhibit cytotoxicity. KIR-NKAT2 antigen is involved in the recognition of HLA-C molecules (-Cw3 and related alleles).
