RPA p11 is a subunit of replication protein A, also known as Human single-stranded DNA-binding protein (HSSB). P11 and p34 are thought to form the base for the complex before p70 is added to the complex. Disruption of the p11 subunit blocks replication, due to the lack of formation of the entire HSSB complex.

PA3-955 detects RPA p11 in human cells.PA3-955 has been successfully used in Western blotting procedures. By Western blot it detects a ∽11kDa protein representing RPA p11.The PA3-955 immunogen is a synthetic peptide conjugated to the 20 amino acids of the RPA p11C-terminus.
