Description
The OX-18 antibody reacts with a non-polymorphic determinant of rat MHC class I antigen on erythrocytes and most nucleated cells, except normal neurons and glial cells. OX-18 mAb has been reported to block the recognition of RT1A by rat NK cells. This antibody is routinely tested by flow cytometric analysis. Other applications were tested at BD Biosciences Pharmingen during antibody development only or reported in the literature.
