Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: rat testis tissue, rat liver tissue, rat brain tissue, rat lung tissue, mouse testis tissue, mouse liver tissue, mouse brain tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse HEPA1-6 whole cell, human A375 whole cell, human A549 whole cell, human SMMC-7721 whole cell. IHC: human lung cancer tissue. Flow: ANA-1 cell, Raji cell. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

The protein encoded by this gene hydrolyzes cerebroside sulfate to cerebroside and sulfate. Defects in this gene lead to metachromatic leucodystrophy, a progressive demyelination disease which results in a variety of neurological symptoms and ultimately death. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene.
