ATP1B2 (extracellular) Polyclonal Antibody, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific PA5111852
Description
Reconstitute antibody with 50 μL of double distilled water (DDW). The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4 degrees C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, small aliquots should be stored at -20 degrees C. Avoid multiple freezing and thawing. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 x g 5 min). Peptide sequence is: (C)DTESWDQ HVQKLNK Homology: Human amino acid residues identical; mouse 13/14 amino acid residues identical.
This is the non-catalytic component of the active enzyme, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of Na+ and K+ ions across the plasma membrane. The exact function of the beta-2 subunit is not known. Mediates cell adhesion of neurons and astrocytes, and promotes neurite outgrowth.
