For use with BACTEC 9240, 9120, and 9050 Systems

• Used in a qualitative procedure for the culture and recovery of anaerobic microorganisms from blood
• Fluorescent series bar-coded blood culture media
• Each vial contains a chemical sensor which can detect increases in CO₂ produced by the growth of microorganisms
• Vials ready to use as received—require no reconstitution or dilution
• Detection is limited to microorganisms that will grow in a particular type of medium
