Batoclimab (HBM9161) is an antibody that targets the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn). FcRn expression is up-regulated by pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as TNF-alpha) and prolongs the half-life of IgG and serum albumin by reducing lysosomal degradation in endothelial cells and bone marrow-derived cells.
