Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-17185 targets Brachyury protein T in indirect ELISA, FACS, IHC and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-17185 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human T (amino acids: 257-309 ) expressed in E. Coli. MA5-17185 detects Brachyury protein T which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 47.4kDa.

The protein encoded by this gene is an embryonic nuclear transcription factor that binds to a specific DNA element, the palindromic T-site. It binds through a region in its N-terminus, called the T-box, and effects transcription of genes required for mesoderm formation and differentiation. The protein is localized to notochord-derived cells.
