  • Cycling cells are incubated with 5-bromo-2’-deoxyuridine (BrdU), a synthetic analog of thymidine which incorporates into newly synthesized genomic DNA during the S-phase of mitosis
  • Following DNA denaturation, the cells are stained for BrdU incorporation along with any other cell surface and/or intracellular targets of interest
