Description

Cyanobacteria, also known as blue-green bacteria, blue-green algae and Cyanophyta, is a phylum of bacteria that obtain their energy through photosynthesis.

Low light is 50 to 100 ft.. candles of fluorescent light or fluorescent light from the ceiling; High light level is 200 to 400 ft.. candles of fluorescent light 18 to 24 in. from the culture.
