Invitrogen™ CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (ICRF44), NovaFluor™ Blue 660-120S, eBioscience™, Invitrogen™
Description
The ICRF44 mAb reacts with human CD11b, a 165 kDa adhesion molecule. CD11b associated with integrin beta2 (CD18) is expressed on the surface of monocytes, granulocytes, activated lymphocytes and a subset of NK cells. CD11b is a receptor for intercellular adhesion molecule family members CD54, CD102 and CD50 as well as for iC3b. These adhesions are crucial in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. This ICRF44 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. This ICRF44 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 uL (0.8 ug) per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 uL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes. Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains are recommended for use with NovaFluor dyes. Each NovaFluor conjugate or kit is shipped with CellBlox Blocking Buffer. Add 5 uL per sample (regardless of the number of NovaFluors in your panel) to use the antibody cocktail as intended. For single-color controls, use 5 uL of CellBlox Blocking Buffer per 100uL of cell sample containing 10^3 to 10^8 cells.
