Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody

This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire. This antibody has specificity for Human CLM-9/TREM4.

CD300g, also known as Immunoglobulin-like Transcripts 4 (ILT4) or CMRF35-like molecule 1 (CLM-1), is a gene located on chromosome 17q25.1, encoding a member of the CD300 family of molecules involved in modulating immune responses. CD300g is expressed on myeloid cells, particularly macrophages and dendritic cells, and plays a role in regulating cell activation and inflammatory processes. It functions as an inhibitory receptor, interacting with phosphatidylserine and other lipid ligands to modulate immune cell activity, influencing cytokine production and phagocytosis. The expression and signaling pathways of CD300g contribute to immune homeostasis and are of particular interest in contexts like autoimmune diseases, infection, and cancer, where immune regulation is disrupted. Research into CD300g aims to uncover potential therapeutic applications in modulating immune functions and offers insights into its role in balancing immune responses in health and disease.
