Description

Description

Description: The rat IgG2b, kappa monoclonal antibody is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin. Applications Reported: This rat IgG2b, kappa, isotype control has been reported for use as a control for immunofluorescent staining, flow cytometric analysis, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry. Applications Tested: This rat IgG2b, kappa, isotype control has been tested by immunofluorescent staining and flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocyte suspensions and can be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody. Super Bright 645 is a tandem dye that can be excited with the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 645 nm. We recommend using a 660/20 bandpass filter. Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochrome. When using two or more Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies in a staining panel, it is recommended to use Super Bright Staining Buffer (cat. SB-4400) to minimize any non-specific polymer interactions. Please refer to the datasheet for Super Bright Staining Buffer. Light sensitivity: This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect this vial and stained samples from light. Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (cat. 00-8222) (100 μL of cell sample + 100 μL of IC Fixation Buffer) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (cat. 00-5333) for up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency/compensation.

CD335, also known as NKp46 or NCR1, is a member of the natural cytotoxicity receptor family, which includes NKp30 and NKp44. This type I transmembrane glycoprotein is expressed on NK cells and plays a crucial role in activating and expanding resting NK cells through interactions with dendritic cells. CD335 enhances the ability of NK cells to eliminate tumor and virus-infected cells, such as those infected by influenza. CD335 consists of two Ig-like domains and is related to leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptors (LIR) and killer inhibitory receptors (KIR). It contributes to the increased efficiency of activated NK cells in mediating tumor cell lysis. Additionally, CD335 interacts with pancreatic beta cells during the development of type 1 diabetes, highlighting its involvement in both immune defense and autoimmune processes.
