Invitrogen™ CEACAM6 Monoclonal Antibody (439424)

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA524164
Description
In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human CEACAM-1, -3, or -5 is observed. Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
CEA Cell Adhesion Molecule 6 (CEACAM6) belongs to the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family whose members are glycosyl phosphatidyl inositol (GPI) anchored cell surface glycoproteins. Members of this family play a role in cell adhesion and are widely used as tumor markers in serum immunoassay determinations of carcinoma. CEACAM6 affects the sensitivity of tumor cells to adenovirus infection. The acts as a receptor for adherent-invasive E. coli adhesion to the surface of ileal epithelial cells in patients with Crohn's disease.
