Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gibbon, Monkey, Panda (100%); Gorilla, Dog, Elephant, Horse (93%); Mouse, Rat, Hamster (86%). For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

CERK converts ceramide to ceramide 1-phosphate (C1P), a sphingolipid metabolite. Both CERK and C1P have been implicated in various cellular processes, including proliferation, apoptosis, phagocytosis, and inflammation (Kim et al., 2006 ).
