Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Reconstitute with PBS (pH 7.3) and recommend to perform another round of desalting process using Product No. 7KMWCO

Complement factor H1 (Complement factor H1, factor H1, CFH) is a plasma glycoprotein (139 kDa) and the secreted form of the protein is composed of 20 repetitive units of 60 amino acids, named short consensus repeats (SCR). Factor H1 is a central regulator of early alternative pathway activation by acting as a cofactor for factor I in the cleavage of C3b into iC3b. Factor H1 also competes with factor B for binding with C3b, inhibiting excessive alternative pathway activation. Complete (homozygous) factor H1 deficiency by genetic mutation has been rarely reported.
