Description

Goat Polyclonal Antibody

This antibody detects recombinant mouse MICL/CLEC12A in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human MICL is observed. Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

CD371 is also known as Clec12A or Myeloid Inhibitory C-type Lectin-like receptor (MICL). CD371 is a highly glycosylated transmembrane receptor with a cytoplasmic ITIM that associates with SHP1 and SHP2. CD371 is expressed mainly on granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, including plasmacytoid dendritic cells. Expression of CD371 on NK cells remains controversial. Although the function of CD371 is not fully understood, studies suggest that this receptor plays a role in inflammation and LPS activation.
