Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

The MA1-7413 antibody reacts with Clostridium difficile toxin B in bacterial and infected tissue samples. MA1-7413 has minimal cross reactivity with toxin A. MA1-7413 has been successfully used in ELISA applications. The MA1-7413 antibody was raised against Toxin B of Clostridium difficile. Store at 4°C until ready to use. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles by storing aliquots at -20°C.

Clostridium difficile is a species of bacteria of the genus Clostridium which are Gram-positive, anaerobic, spore-forming rods (bacillus). C.difficile is the most significant cause of pseudomembranous colitis, a severe infection of the colon.
