Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-17554 targets Crry in FACS and IHC (F) applications and shows reactivity with Rat samples. The MA5-17554 immunogen is erythrocytes from a C3 mutated rat.

This gene encodes a membrane-bound inhibitor of complement activation, which contains several tandemly arranged short consensus repeats (SCRs) of approximately 60 amino acids. The encoded protein may play a role in tumor immune surveillance, which is unrelated to complement inhibition. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
