Description
This cylindrical-form crucible is crafted from 99.7% pure aluminum oxide, ideal for high-temperature work demanding contamination-free results.
- Maximum use temperature is 1750°C (3182°F)
- Temperature change rate should not exceed 150°C (302°F) per hour
- High-alumina products are highly refractory, meant for use in reducing and oxidizing atmospheres
- Material is inert in hydrogen and carbonaceous atmospheres and offers high resistance to alkalis and other fluxes
- Recommended for use with refractory metals
- Suitable for glass melting, including borosilicate glass
