Description

Demonstrate 2-D collisions and scattering.

Show two-dimensional collisions and scattering, both by attraction and repulsion. Use with ring magnets (S52173) and plastic beads (S52157). Magnetic field strengths are strong enough that collisions can occur without physical contact. By stacking the discs, the mass ratio of colliding magnets can be varied.
