Intracellular cryoprotective agent

DMSO, Cell Cryopreserve Grade is a cryoprotective agent which penetrates the cell membrane. DMSO, Cell Cryopreserve Grade reduces the osmotic charge of the cells during freezing and thawing and antagonizes the osmotic shock. Furthermore DMSO, Cell Cryopreserve Grade protects the cells from dehydration and shrinking during freezing and prevents the formation of ice crystals.
