Clone AE-2 recognizes double stranded DNA expressed in the nucleus of human cells. AE-2 produces a homogeneous staining pattern in the nucleus of normal and malignant cells and can be used for paraformaldehyde fixed or frozen tissue or cell preparations and formalin fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Tonsil tissue is the recommended positive control tissue.
