Ensure accurate, reproducible results in immunohistochemistry applications with Epredia™ Emerin Ab-1, Mouse Monoclonal Antibody.

Emerin is a serine-rich, ubiquitously expressed protein with the highest concentration in skeletal and cardiac muscles. It is localized in the nuclear membrane and is coded by the STA gene at the  Xq28 locus. Emerin deficiency is the main causal feature of Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy (EDMD), which is an X-linked disorder leading to weakening of muscles and cardiomyopathy presented as heart block.
