Harris' Alum Hematoxylin Stain is a regressive stain used in demonstrating nuclear chromatin.

  • Stain time is usually 4 - 8 minutes; however, nature of the tissue and depth of staining may require a time increase to 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Contents: Hematoxylin, Potassium Alum, Mercuric Oxide (Red), Ethanol, Glacial Acetic Acid (where applicable)
  • This solution is made from certified dyes.
