Antibody detects endogenous levels of total ENPP7.

ENPP7 converts sphingomyelin to ceramide. ENPP7 also has phospholipase C activity toward palmitoyl lyso-phosphocholine. ENPP7 does not appear to have nucleotide pyrophosphatase activity.
