Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA140076
Description

It does not cross react with purified laminin, collagen types I-V, fibronectin, heparin sulfate proteoglycan, entactin or nidogen. MA1-40076 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (frozen and parrafin), flow cytometry, and immunofluorescence applications. Suggested positive control is spleen The MA1-40076 immunogen is mouse thymic stromal cells. Suggested positive control: Spleen; Suggested negative control: Lymphoid cells.
Fibroblasts are the least specialized cells in the connective-tissue family. Thay are dispersed in connective tissue throughout the body, where they secrete a nonrigid extracellular matrix that is rich in type I and/or type III collagen. The activation of fibroblasts by inflammatory stimuli results in their migration, proliferation and deposition of extracellular matrix components, important features involved in both wound healing and fibrosis.
