MA5-17077 targets FOXC2 in indirect ELISA, WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-17077 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human FOXC2 (amino acids: 21-210 ) expressed in E. Coli. MA5-17077 detects FOXC2 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 53.7kDa.

Forkhead box protein C2 (FOXC2) is a transciptional activator and is characterized by a distinct DNA-binding forkhead domain. FOXC2 may be involved in the formation of special mesenchymal tissues. Mutations affecting the gene can cause lymphedema-distichiasis (LYD).
