Fructose-6-Phosphate Kinase Polyclonal Antibody, Rockland™

Goat Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemicals 20011560100

Description
Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Anti-FRUCTOSE-6-PHOSPHATE KINASE is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Fructose-6-Phosphate Kinase [Rabbit muscle]. Cross reactivity against Fructose-6-Phosphate Kinase from other sources is expected based on high degrees of sequence homology for muscle derived F6PK. Partial reactivity may occur against F6PK isolated from liver.
Tight junctions represent one mode of cell-to-cell adhesion in epithelial or endothelial cell sheets, forming continuous seals around cells and serving as a physical barrier to prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space. The protein encoded by this immunoglobulin superfamily gene member is localized in the tight junctions between high endothelial cells. Unlike other proteins in this family, the this protein is unable to adhere to leukocyte cell lines and only forms weak homotypic interactions. The encoded protein is a member of the junctional adhesion molecule protein family and acts as a receptor for another member of this family.Specifications
