It is also used as a mordant for dyes, paint additives, coating additives, plasticizers, processing aids and specific to petroleum production. Further, it is used in dentifrices as a stain remover and to make other chemicals. In addition to this, it is used in rosin esters, drying oils, printing inks and flavoring agent.
