MA5-17080 targets FZD5 in FACS, indirect ELISA, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-17080 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human FZD5 (amino acids:151-217) expressed in E. Coli. MA5-17080 detects FZD5 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 64.5kDa.

Members of the 'frizzled' gene family encode 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt signaling proteins. The FZD5 protein is believed to be the receptor for the Wnt5A ligand.
