PA1-4713 is specific for the ~51k alpha-2-subunit of the GABAA receptor. In Western blot, labeling is absent in alpha-2-subunit knockout animals. This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, human, non-human primate and Zebrafish based on 100% sequence homology.
