Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

2 μg/mL of MA5-45482 was sufficient for detection of Delta1 GABA-A receptor in 10 μg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 55kDa.

GABA, the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the vertebrate brain, mediates neuronal inhibition by binding to the gaba/benzodiazepine receptor and opening an integral chloride channel.
