Invitrogen™ GAP43 Polyclonal Antibody
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ PA519470
Description
For Western Blot, this antibody has non-specific bands at 100 kDa and 50 kDa. Not suitable for use with Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin). This antibody is predicted to react with human and chimpanzee based on sequence homology. Store antibody at 4ºC for 1-2 weeks. For long-term storage, store at -20ºC.
GAP43 (Neuromodulin) is associated with nerve growth. GAP43 is expressed by developing and regenerating neurons, and to a lesser extent reactive glial cells. It is a major component of the motile growth cones that form the tips of elongating axons. GAP43 also plays a role in axonal and dendritic filopodia induction.
