Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Reconstitute by adding 1 mL of PBS buffer, yielding a concentration of 100 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human Hela whole cell, human A549 whole cell, monkey COS-7 whole cell, human Caco-2 whole cell, human HepG2 whole cell. IHC: Human Lung Cancer Tissue, Human Intestinal Cancer Tissue. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

The protein encoded by this gene binds to the 'plus' ends of actin monomers and filaments to prevent monomer exchange. The encoded calcium-regulated protein functions in both assembly and disassembly of actin filaments. Defects in this gene are a cause of familial amyloidosis Finnish type (FAF). Multiple transcript variants encoding several different isoforms have been found for this gene.
