Spectrum™ Chemical Glycerin, Natural, USP, EP, BP is one of two USP grade Glycerins available from Spectrum with the other being Glycerin, Synthetic, USP, EP, BP, JP. Natural glycerin is produced from the hydrolysis of animal or vegetable lipids during soap manufacture but the majority of natural glycerin now comes as a result of it being a side product during the production of biodiesel. All Spectrum Chemical USP, EP, BP grade products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.
