Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

IHC(P) analysis shows positive staining of GPR88 in human enteric ganglion cells. WB analysis shows GPR88 in glyco-protein enriched fractions from mock transfected or GPR88 overexpressed 293 cells. GPR88 exists in different glycosylated forms.

GPR88 is an Orphan-A GPCR with an unknown ligand. GPR88 expression has been documented almost exclusively in the striatum of the brain and not in any peripheral tissues. ESTs have been isolated from diseased brain, ear, and kidney libraries.
