Invitrogen™ GRK5 Polyclonal Antibody
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ PA532859
Description
Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Marmoset, Bovine, Horse (93%); Dog, Elephant, Panda, Pig (87%); Mouse, Rat, Bat (80%). For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
GRK5 is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates the activity of a variety of G protein-coupled receptors and the motility of polymorphonuclear leukocytes. The protein phosphorylates the activated forms of G protein-coupled receptors thus initiating their deactivation. It has also been shown to play a role in regulating the motility of polymorphonuclear leukocytes.
