Description

Heated Forceps are electrically heated instruments designed to assist with the proper positioning of tissue specimens during the embedding process in paraffin wax.

The safe, low-voltage heating element maintains a steady temperature throughout specimen manipulation. The ergonomic design ensures user comfort while performing specimen placement, and the anti-microbial coating helps prevent bacteria and virus growth.

  • Choose either serrated or smooth tips
  • Available in 3 sizes:
    • 1 mm (Red)
    • 2 mm (Yellow)
    • 4 mm (Blue)
  • Designed to take up minimal bench-top space
  • Anti-microbial coating to help prevent bacteria and virus growth
  • Molded finger grips increase user comfort and remain cool when in use
  • Bayonet connection prevents disconnection while in use
  • Operate at a temperature between 63°C to 70°C (145°F to 158°F)
  • Compatible with the Mopec™ Control Unit (BK330)
