Description

The patented GreenHouse Plus Parallel Synthesizer was designed with the help of scientists at GlaxoSmithKline to perform up to 24 reactions in parallel with a volume range from 0.5 to 7 mL per reaction tube. Its removable reaction block holds 24 glass reaction tubes in the same position as a standard 24-well microplate, enabling the rapid transfer of samples to and from plates with a multichannel pipette or robotic pipetting system. Each tube position is clearly marked on the reflux top, reaction block and reactor base for easy sample identification. The GreenHouse Plus uses “V-Mag” stirring bar technology that ensures that the PTFE stirring bar in each reaction tube provides uniform and efficient stirring for all samples.

  • Removable reaction block features a standard MPT footprint for use with multichannel pipettes and robotic pipetting systems
  • Fits on standard stirring hotplates
  • For up to 24 × 16mm glass reaction tubes with working volumes from 0.5 to 7 mL
  • Heats reactions to 1500°C; cools reaction down to -700°C when using the optional cooling reservoir
  • Temperature accuracy within μ0.500°C ensured when using the Pt1000 temperature sensor sold separately
  • Cooling reservoir can be filled with acetone/dry ice or other solvent/dry ice combinations; insulated foam core maintains low temperatures for long periods while protecting the stirrer from freezing, also reduces condensation and ice formation on outer surfaces
  • Perform reflux reactions while under an inert atmosphere with the combined reflux and additions head
  • Nickel-plated pressure relief valve vents at 4 psi to 6 psi for added safety
  • Fully compatible with GreenHouse Work-Up System™ and most centrifugal evaporators, facilitating down-stream applications
  • No moving parts make setup easy and operation virtually maintenance-free
