Description
AA Sequence of recombinant protein: SHLVKCAEKE KTFCVNGGEC FMVKDLSNPS RYLCKCPNEF TGDRCQNYVM ASFYKHLGIE FMEAE. Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Heregulinbeta-1. Anti-Human Heregulinbeta-1-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated. Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human Heregulin-beta1 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human Heregulin-beta1 (500-P288) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human Heregulin-beta1. Western Blot: To detect Human Heregulin-beta1 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human Heregulin-beta1 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. 500-P288BT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 μg
Direct ligand for ERBB3 and ERBB4 tyrosine kinase receptors. Concomitantly recruits ERBB1 and ERBB2 coreceptors, resulting in ligand-stimulated tyrosine phosphorylation and activation of the ERBB receptors. The multiple isoforms perform diverse functions such as inducing growth and differentiation of epithelial, glial, neuronal, and skeletal muscle cells; inducing expression of acetylcholine receptor in synaptic vesicles during the formation of the neuromuscular junction; stimulating lobuloalveolar budding and milk production in the mammary gland and inducing differentiation of mammary tumor cells; stimulating Schwann cell proliferation; implication in the development of the myocardium such as trabeculation of the developing heart. Isoform 10 may play a role in motor and sensory neuron development.Specifications
