Detects alpha isoforms (3 Ig-like domains) and beta isoforms (2 Ig-like domains) of human FGF R2 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, this antibody reacts with all isoforms of rhFGF R2 but shows approximately a 4-fold preference for (IIIc) isoforms. Approximately 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse FGF R2, 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) FGF RI ( beta isoforms), and no cross-reactivity with rhFGF RI ( alpha isoforms), rhFGF R3, or rhFGF R4 is observed. | |
